This is a non-accredited, blended course which will support attendees in understanding and building confidence in providing clinical supervision. It will help attendees develop clinical supervision at site including ways in which supervision can be delivered, how to draw up contracts with supervisees and how to deal with the legal and ethical aspects of clinical supervision.
It will enable you to:

- Know what clinical supervision is, what it aims to achieve and how this can be done at your site
- Understand the various approaches to clinical supervision and how to use these in the workplace
- Be able to set up good contracts with your supervisees and deliver on these
Know about the relevant legal and ethical issues involved in clinical supervision
This course is suitable for Registered nurse/Allied Healthcare professionals with substantial, recognised clinical practice experience who are or will be delivering clinical supervision at site level.

Applicants should discuss access to this course with their manager and Practise Based Educator prior to booking.
A signed Learning Agreement will be required upon application.
